Rating: One Star - An urban oasis in the middle of Massachusetts. Lots of rowers to be seen here and the occassional water skier. Shores are mostly developed with some short stretches of greenery.

  Put in at North Quinsigamond
  Avenue in Shrewsbury MA.
Paddle south and
  around then return.

At the Leo Corazini state boat ramp on North Quinsigammond Avenue in Shrewsbury MA.
Trip date is August 2013.

To the right (north) of the launch is the I-290 highway bridge.


Just launched on Lake Quinsigamond. Paddling south.
Left bank is Shrewsbury MA. Right bank is Worcester MA.





Next to the launch is the Donahue Rowing Center.

















That building on the horizon is the UMass Memorial Hospital of Worcester MA.

Looks like they are building a new bridge to replace the current Route 9 bridge.

At this point, I turned around and started paddling north.

Continuing north, the I-290 bridge is approaching.
The take is to the right just before that bridge.
